About the Role
Leonteq Securities AG is looking for a dynamic and team-oriented Secondary Market Trader. The successful candidate will be responsible for quoting and trading Structured Products across various asset classes both on exchanges and over the counter. The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and requires a high degree of analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
What You'll Do
- Continuously monitor and manage risks resulting from the issuance and trading activity of structured products.
- Engage in market-making for structured products.
- Manage relationships with third-party brokers and execute orders on their behalf.
- Proactively collaborate with the Sales team and other internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality client service and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the development of the trading infrastructure to enhance automation of risk management and overall scalability of the trading platform.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or a related field, with a preference for relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. CFA, FRM).
- Previous work experience in a similar role.
- A solid understanding of derivatives and structured products.
- The ability to work independently, accurately and under time pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced knowledge in Python and an understanding of price contribution is a strong advantage.
- Fluency in English, with knowledge of either German or Italian.
