Your Role
- As a (Senior) FIX Engineer Specialist at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you are responsible for our group-wide execution trading system (FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite - Front Arena AMS and Avaloq) but also for surrounding systems.
- Additionally, you provide customization and workflow definition tasks, mainly for FIX interfaces, including project management work.
Your Responsibilities
- Customize FIX interfaces
- Define IT processes and workflows within our order routing and trading systems, e.g. FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite - Front Arena AMS (market access, order routing, settlement) and Avaloq
- Implement, configure and test new functionalities
- Analyse and support on business level
- Create technical documentation
Your Profile
- Higher education (university / FH) in IT or natural sciences, with 5 years of practical experience in the field of FIX interfaces
- Required industry specific knowledge as well as basic knowledge in Trading (Eq, FI, Deriv, FX)
- Hands-on experience with FIX Protocol, TLS, encryption and profound IT-affinity, in particular with Windows NOS, TCP/IP
- Knowledge of FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite: Front Arena AMS, Avaloq and/or Python is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to work with various stakeholders and willingness to take responsibility
- Capability to work independently and ability to work under pressure
- Fluency in English; fluency in German is a plus
